The Swift Boat ads are hurting Kerry, and someone needs to answer

I think the DNC would be a good avenue for this? They should interview men who counter the swift boat liars and make a commercial of their own.

They should make an ad about Kerry's testimony, setting the record straight, and giving him credit for helping to end the Vietnam war.

We have to counter each and every one of these charges directly, we can't let this linger if we can help it.

I realize Kerry is doing all he can, but someone needs to step up.

I am not promoting a dooms day theory, I am saying evidence has it the LIES are sticking, and we DEMOCRATS need to act. :shrug:

As it is now, were at the complete mercy of the media, and more specifically *cough* Chris Matthews? :crazy:

Apparently, they are doing no more than scaring hell outta some Kerry supporters, though. ;)

3. I'm not scared, there is much time to recover. But specific polls show

that Kerry is seen as "less honest/admirable" etc. after these ads.

They have been effective. Kerry answered them to the best of his ability and continues to do so, but some of the guys he served with and one of our surrogates has to step up to the plate here.

The majority of Men who served with Kerry and the official record support his account, but the media is casting doubt and we need a DIRECT ANSWER in the form of an ad campaign.

The best way to do this is to have a surrogate group answer.

I am angry at what they're doing to Kerry, we should all be outraged here.

I refuse to blame the victim ie. Kerry because he's handling this well, but I do want to see a firm and direct COUNTER ATTACK. :hi:

The media wouldn't give them any airtime. Or it would only ridicule and smear them, too. Twenty-four hours a day. Seven days a week. With short breaks for reality shows and infomercials.

seen this. please check out the economist polls. the #s look great, the sample size is 2000 and kerrys #s have all gone up since the convention

hes only leading overall by 3 points but the breakdown of the #s (and there are many!) look very promising
