Bush: "I don't think you give timelines to dictators"
"Showing none of the alarm about the North's growing arsenal that he once voiced regularly about Iraq, he opened his palms and shrugged when an interviewer noted that new intelligence reports indicate that the North may now have the fuel to produce six or eight nuclear weapons."

snip

He said that in North Korea's case, and in Iran's, he would not be rushed to set deadlines for the countries to disarm, despite his past declaration that he would not "tolerate'' nuclear capability in either nation.

snip

"I don't think you give timelines to dictators,'' Mr. Bush said, speaking of North Korea's president, Kim Jong Il, and Iran's mullahs.

Why is George Bush so weak on terror? Has he forgotten 9-11?

1. NK doesn't have oil
So obviously they are not a threat :eyes:
The country that doesn't have WMD gets invaided...the country that screams "we have WMD" is ignored.
Huh.

5. No, you don't understand
George Bush has a commitment to democracy in the Middle East! He is betraying his noble vision of overthrowing all the totalitarian Islamic-fascist regimes! The war on terror will go nowhere! He's almost as bad as that Frenchman, John Kerry.

ie, how will the freepers spin this? He's not about attacking Islam anymore.

7. I'm betting that it might
Bush has now gone on the record that he may not follow the Grand Plan of the war on terror so many have assumed he will. This is the greatest gift George Bush has given us in a long while. This is something to be savored.
