So McLame may announce his running mate Thursday (per Huffington)
First off won't that just make all of the Republicans turn on the TV (and therefore watch Obama's speech)

also, won't that give the Dems a chance to react with the biggest audience possible?

3. I hope he does that
It will get buried(for at least a day) in all the press from the Obama speech. This seems like the same tactic that McCain used when he gave that speech with the awful green backdrop.

I can't think of anyone that has run for president recently, that would do such a thing. It's classless and would cost them votes.
