Turns out that "Deb" thought McCain was against overturning Roe v. Wade!

Rachel Maddow just told the story that she was asked today in a press conference how she could vote for McCain being pro-choice, and she said she thought McCain was against overturning Roe v. Wade! Could that be because Carly Fiorina is going around spreading those lies? I heard her imply McCain wants to force insurance companies to cover birth control when he voted AGAINST that bill (the one that would not cover birth control but would cover Viagra). :eyes:

ETA-She's the woman who was a Clinton delegate from Wisconsin and was removed for saying she was going to vote for McCain. (credit for that description goes to davidpdx from his post below.)

I love when Rachel said that it was a post-rational mindset, and then Uncle Pat tried to shut it down and say "Blah blah blah, that's not the point! You can't win over these people when you are calling them post-rationaL!" and Rachel said "I'm not trying to win over ANYONE, I'm trying to win an argument!" Haha. I would almost welcome Pat on Rachel's new show, only to see the regular smackdowns that would occur.
