3. This is a sad marriage.
The guy has obviously sold out his soul on this deal. Maybe he squares it with his "feelings" for poor people, I don'tknow. All I know is this guy is so old he can't get an answer to a question together.

Enough! Basta! AARGH!

4. I don't think he's capable of love

I don't think there's much love from either one in that marriage. He stays with her because of the money. She stays for the sake of appearance and the kids.
The more I know about them, the less I like them.
Did you realize that not one of the properties is held jointly? All of the property is in her name or the children's names. That strikes me as peculiar after 30 years of marriage.
Also, Cindy never worked at the distributorship in any capacity. Why? Because Arizona is a community property state and if she did work there, the fruits of her work would be community property. In other words, if she worked there, her ownership interest would be commingled community and separate property. Once commingled, the whole thing becomes community property. She's icy smart.

edited for clarity

That's it, it is peculiar. They finances are plain weird and I think it is very strange that not a single property is held jointly. I just find that difficult to understand.

And they all look like very unhappy people. Their older daughter always seems sad.
