Campaign surrogates: Should their pasts be exposed during m$m appearances?
Right now, I'm thinking specifically of Carly Fiorina, who ran a successful company with extraordinary employee satisfaction right into the ground. She's also known for saying: "Americans think they have a God-given right to a job. They don't," just before shipping thousands of high-paying American jobs overseas.

I know this leave es our gang open for it too, so should the press go there or not? I think the public should know these things. All we hear about CF is that she was a "successful" CEO--not even close to the truth at all. She was a failuyre at HP, and worse.

Full disclosure, warts and all? If we believe in it, we gotta be able to take the heat for our side, too. so what do you think?

1. She was also in the loop on a corporate syping scandal. Tapping her employees phones.

4. Actually, it was post-Fiorina, but she's got plenty of baggage without that.
Mr. B@L has done million dollar+ contracts with HP for years--we despise Fiorina, but the spying wasn't her.

5. That's when it broke. My guess is she was in on the ground floor and bailed
in part because of it.

2. I think is a great idea, but
those who consider themselves "conservatives" don't give a fuck about the backgrounds of those who get access to a microphone and scream and shout about evil liberals. If the gop base really had any values there would be no gop.

But I'm all for your idea.

3. I'm all for fair and balanced so I say absolutely. Lay it all on the table and we can
use our own brains to decide for ourselves what's important and what isn't.

6. If she is being considered for the V.P. post, I say it's fair game
Otherwise, the media will spend all their time finding the warts on the surrogates from both sides.
