Bil Kristol is concerned about the Democrats' "glass ceiling" when it comes to vice presidential choices. That, after all, is the only possible explanation for Hillary Clinton not being chosen for the vice-presidency. Out of curiosity, I wandered over to the masthead of his magazine, The Weekly Standard, to see what a leading feminist like Kristol was doing for the advancement of women in politics. Out of 20 editorial positions, three are held by women. Of those three positions, all are "administrative" editorial: Managing editor, editorial assistant, and another editorial assistant. Of the 18 "contributing editors" to the magazine, exactly one is a woman.

People standing on glass ceilings shouldn't throw stones.
