Where the hell is Bob Barr?
Edited on Sun Aug-24-08 07:41 AM by maseman
IS he running for President? He's got a full-fledged web-page. Will he be on the ballot in November is the $64,000 question. If he is we have this thing in the bag. But the polls rarely reflect him as a viable choice for voters. Thoughts?

On edit...

Here's the poll that I had found from July. I'd like to see this poll done again today.

Released: July 06, 2008
Zogby Poll: Building Mo-bama! Democrat Leads McCain in Electoral College Tally, 273-160

The Democrat also leads 44% to 38% in the nationwide horserace test as Libertarian Bob Barr wins 6%

UTICA, New York – As the race for President passes the Independence Day holiday and heads toward the dog days of summer, Sen. Barack Obama holds a 44% to 38% lead over Sen. John McCain in the horserace contest, but also leads by a substantial margin in a state-by-state Electoral College tally, a new Zogby Interactive poll shows.

1. Maybe he will be the Mccain VP....

There is no viable, impressive republican mccain can pick that will match our ticket.

They should just save their money.

5. I saw some polls a few months back that
when he was added into the mix it took about 4 or 5 points from McSame. It was something like Obama 47%, McCain 38% and Barr at 4%. That would be a huge upside potential for Obama. But we never see that in the polling now. I suppose if the media reports that then this is not much of a dog race and the ratings will be lower.

8. If that shaves 3% off of McCain then that is huge
If Obama is at about 47% or 48% in most polls and McCain has been running at about 45% or 46% then that would put him down around 42% -43%. I like that spread much better.

9. It especially affects the outcome in Georgia! I LOVE THAT!
I moved to Ga. in 2000, and there are MANY MANY Pubs here! Most of them can't even tell you WHY they always support the Pub candidate.
