(I was off by a couple of years, but he sounds young to me)

Why does Joe Biden sound as coherent as Bill Clinton?

Just 'askin.

(edited for stoopid)

9. And, to me, seems much younger than his age. It's a matter of energy, and he's very quick-witted
too.

born November 20, 1942.

And 'coherence' is only indirectly or occasionally related to age.

14. Probably
I'm not there yet, but I am much different than I was 7 years ago. If you read up on this you'll find out that the body and the mind changes over time. 7 years is 1/11th of the average persons life.

16. Yes, if I'm the example (I'm 58). I experienced menopause at 52, for starters.
Edited on Sat Aug-23-08 08:38 PM by WinkyDink
I had more hair, less weight, fewer facial lines, better eyesight....shall I go on?

BTW, 7 is different from 14, too.

20. Well, I have no less hair, am about the same weight, am MUCH stronger physically
and far mellower than I was at 50. Since my hair turned grey in my late 30's, that isn't a factor. My point was that for two people so close in age in the winter of their lives, damn Joe is as quick as I am.

12. not only is Joe chonologically younger at 65
He's probably lived a much cleaner life than McSame, giving him a much, much younger biological life.

Seriously, McSame was a party boy, and booze and the party lifestyle do not do your brain any favors.

The same things that impact your physical health impact your neurons. McCain was a lousy student when he was young, there is nothing out there that suggests he developed curiousity or reads or cares about using his mind. Use it or lose it!

Learning new things, keeping your brain working, reading, all keep your brain working better. McCain can't be bothered.

Likewise, maintaining your physical health is very important to your brain. Being waited on hand and foot, riding around in a golf cart -- your body atrophies, your circulation suffers, your brain doesn't get enough blood and oxygen, and it deteriorates.

Finally, good emotional health is important to maintaining good brain function. All indications are that Joe has a happy, close family. I doubt he's ever called his wife a c or any other name.

13. Biden and Paul McCartney were born the
same year different months. Joe will be 66 on November 20th and as someone pointed out..it's not the number but the energy and the intellectual contribution you make.

17. Biden didn't have PTSD, and probably not on as many meds as a quick med report revealed.
Meds for a variety of organs. We all age differently.
