1. You know the stories of Johnson stomping down to the Senate and giving
those guys hell? I can see Joe doing that. And who better to, really?

3. That's it.
I also think that Ted Kennedy and Caroline like this pick.
What do you think?

11. I would guess they're very pleased.
Both because strategically I think Joe's name on the ticket will strengthen our chances in November (they are just such an incredible, complementary duo!), and because I think they honestly know, like and respect Joe.

And, I can speak from experience, there's something about that Irish Catholic bond that shouldn't be dismissed.

15. I don't think it will be necessary.... Obama and Biden will have Durbin and Kerry
on point. And I, for one, am hoping to see Durbin as senate majority leader with Kerry leading investigations into BushInc, this time with NO interference from the Clinton wing of the party.

2. Imagine the lack of cringe at the State of the Union!
And yes, Biden might actually show up for his job presiding over the Senate once in a while rather than holing up in the undisclosed location.

16. Unfortunately we'll have to wait until 2011 for that, lame duck Cheney will still get to do it
Although I will thoroughly enjoy watching him preside over the counting of the electoral votes that will officially put Obama/Biden in the White House.

5. Which raises the question: which branch of Gov't will Joe be working for?
The Big Dick seemed to get to change from Executive to Legislative and back again to suit his needs.
