3. Would Amtrak allow him to bring a Secret Service detail with him on the train?
That would be the obvious problem with him continuing to commute like he has been. Maybe he'll live at the traditional VP residence during the week, and go home on the weekend?

Not that being VP is a M-F 9-5 job really, but if your home is that close, why the Hell not?
