3. around the time he was being considered for VP some news came out
about how he might have taken some political favors. i don't remember the details but even if it was false i think it hurt his chances greatly . otherwise i think Dodd might have become the VP pick. pretty much like Biden but without the gaffes.

8. it wasn't huge news
and nothing was proved. but it just didn't help him with the VP thing. i think without that Obama would have went with him over Biden.
