How about some good polling news? Kerry leads in Michigan & Maine (new)
Survey USA is out with fresh polls.

Michigan
Kerry 48%
Chimp 45%
(548 likely voters/ +/-4.3%)

Maine
Kerry 49%
Chimp 44%
(632 likely voters +/- 4%)

The Michigan numbers is pretty close to what Zogby had. Michigan is a key battleground and even with all the publicity the Slimeboat ad got from the free as well as the paid media--KERRY STILL LEADS. As for the LA Times national poll remember it was conducted before Kerry's major counter attack on the Slime balls went into effect and we are going to be up and down between now and November 2nd. Prepare yourselves, too, with Bush coming out of his convention with a bounce. He may be leading nationally in most polls by 5-points. But those bounces don't last. The Debates will be critical and we have the issues on our side.
