21. I had throw my cell phone at the duck
It didn't faze him but it distracted him just enough that I was able to get away

20. Yep, Geese are some of the meanest critters on the planet.
I knew a guy who's wife got a dozen of them after the divorce. After the geese grew up the wouldn't let my friend out of his car when he went to get his kids for a visit.

9. I do think I could take him...
I know I would be risking my life, but if I just
stay alert and avoid that killer bill--I think I
could take him.

Being brave is walking through your fear, right?

I'm terrified, but confident.

10. Does that duck look like he needs a ride anywhere?
He's perfectly capable of getting to where he needs to go without a damn car, as are most humans which is the subject of another rant altogether.

15. Oooooh, a Duck with an attitude....bad ass duck!
There are other ducks, critters, humans, who wouldn't mind the ride and who have limited options, like my mom who has long suffered from polio and is now wheelchair bound.

She's coming with Ginny and I to an Obama training event tomorrow.

Maybe your duck would prefer we all walk the 22 miles...

17. That's one ferocious looking goose-- they make good watch dogs
So, if you have a flock of ducks, chickens, pheasants, pea-fowl,
or whatever, the addition of at least a pair of geese would probably
be a good idea. They are strong, loud, overbearing, gentle and alert,
just the qualities you need in a good watch dog.
