Did anyone see the McCain interview over Georgia where he was really nervous?

It was after his blustery statements and Russia took further military action. I think his statements where stupid b/c they publicly challenged an ex-KGB agent. What was Putin going to do? Stop and then have a fool like McCain crow about how he got Putin to back down? Putin was put in the spot where he had to take further military action to save face. I'm not saying you shouldn't be tough but acting like a blustery old fool when you only have limited options and putting the other guy on the spot where he has to act tough or chance looking like a weakling, seems like Bush style diplomacy.

McCain was being questioned, he acted really nervous b/c he seemed to realize (OOPS, maybe I should have handled that more diplomatically) and he said that no one should should make a political issue of the situation (seeming to reference that the Democrats shouldn't make a political issue of his stupid actions).

Now, all I hear is how McCain was so right on Russia and his handling of the situation and am thinking what the heck... Did anyone else see this interview with multiple reporters?

2. Have you seen any clips on You Tube? McCain was nervous b/c he knew he had made a MAJOR blunder.

I think a great Web commercial could be made of the footage.

Maybe something along the lines of

1. A brief clip of the actions by Russia
2. McCain's blustery statements
3. Further action by Russia (with maybe a quip about what is an Ex-KGB agent to do when he has been publicly challenged before the world)
4. A clip of a prior crisis that was handled diplomatically (as in don't put another leader on the spot to where he has to take further military action to save face)
5. Then McCains interview where he realizes that he acted stupidly and says it shouldn't be made into a political issue.
6. Then the corporate media praising McCain over his handling of the situation.
7. Ending with, hasn't this country had enough of Bush style diplomacy.

They need to show McCain for the Bush incompetent that he is.

5. We SHOULD be nervous because Obama's team let that slide. They allowed a PRIME opportunity

to attack McCain's strength slip by.

And that wasn't the first time, either.

3. Putin is way too smart for McCain. I know I'm stating the obvious, but

the idea of McCain,arms swinging, hopping into the global arena with Putin is scary. I can't help thinking of that famous picture of Mohamed Ali standing over Sonny Liston.
