When the VP choice is announced, I think it will be another of those moments where everyone goes.. I never would have thought of that... and DAMN that is an AWESOME choice!!

3. Perhaps Senator Bill Nelson (D-Fl)
Nelson is kinda like Biden, but doesn't have all the baggage. And can make McCain sweat in Florida!

9. Maybe not compared to Fred Phelps or John Hagee.
But he's certainly far to the right of any actual Democrat on this planet. Christ, just look at his voting record. And don't drag out one of those DLC vote lists that calls him "progressive" because he voted with the party on cow fart research and a bunch of other meaningless crap.

6. For the last time people, WARNER IS RUNNING FOR THE SENATE !
Quit speculating on ridiculous choices. Mark Warner is running for the Senate and Obama chose him to deliver the KEYNOTE address at the Dem convention.

Don't you keep up with the news?

Don't other potential candidates have jobs or are they all unemployed? Or are you truly the fount of all wisdom and all knowing?

While you are at it what about Reed, Biden, and the rest. How about McCain's pick? Did you know Hillary is also currently employed?

16. Which is a good reason not to pick any of them
We don't have enough Democrats in the Senate as it is. We shouldn't lose any of the ones we do have. Which would include Warner, since he's likely to win that seat. Where as a new candidate who had to begin his or her campaign in September, probably would not be.

10. I'd prefer her to Bill Nelson or Evan Bayh
Her worst fault is adding three extra syllables to "umbrella". Kinda pales in comparison to warmongering.

17. Doesn't CT have a Repuke governor?
I'd rather see Dodd as Senate Majority Leader actually. Should have been him or Biden instead of Spineless Reid in the first place. Doesn't seniority count in the Senate anymore?
