McCain, like Bush, is FAR from the sharpest tool in the shed. The man graduated in the BOTTOM of his class. Poor McCain, he's not even smart enough to cover up his cheating (from his answers it became obvious that he knew the questions beforehand). However, I don't think less than an hour is enough for McCain to memorize an answer. I think it's quite possible that McCain recently limited media access b/c he had the questions and was preparing around the clock with a prep coach.

Since Warren came out an admitted McCain wasn't in the cone of silence I guess you could say that he was willing to throw McCain under the bus. What a morally upstanding bunch.

1. I wonder what's with McCains blinking eyes. Does he bat his eyes when he lies or when he's being
honest? What's the tell here?

8. He seems zombie like at times.
He'll repeat one if his talking points like he's concentrating o nthe wrods and is bored by them with his eyes at half mast.

Maybe he'd just gotten up from his 10th nap of the day.

3. Who are the news organizations? If it's the corporate media, they wouldn't think twice

about giving McCain the questions beforehand. They already do a 24/7 infomercial for the man.

6. Warren said he told them what the themes of his questions were going to be.
that was MORE than enough for McCain's handlers to punch up a fairly specific set of 'answers' for him to spew, including that two part bunch of bathos about his imprisonment in Vietnam

if you read the transcript, you'll see he really didn't answer most of the questions directly, just looked into the camera and filibustered. any half alive politician knows very well how to 'answer' a question exactly the way he wants to, and they had everything all packaged up for him

not such a difficult thing, if you spend all your spare time preparing for it.

Obama made the mistake of actually trying to answer the questions. McCain was just acting like a sincere candidate, playing to the TV audience, while given the homecrowd advantage, with the audience hanging on every word, and cheering him on at the obvious applause lines

it was so obvious

7. I'd bet my last nickel Warren will vote for Obama.
Watch the tape again - he DOES NOT like McCain at all. Warren was twitchy and uncomfortable the whole time with McCain.

And of course McCain had the questions in advance. Otherwise the night would be pointless.
