I think Obama should announce his VEEP this weekend to head off the book of lies.
He can take back the conversation and send his new running mate out to slam the liar and his book.

He can ride his rise in the polls, break 50% and head off the likely dip from the release.

What do you think?

1. I agree
If he doesn't change the subject, that book will be all over the Sunday shows. It's time to change the subject and start going after the bastards. It's a perfect time to announce VP.

3. I think they're doing a good job
pushing back against these pieces of shit masquerading as literature this time. Kerry let them go on for weeks without saying much of anything because the theory went that talking about them gave them legitimacy.

I really like the way the Obama campaign has come out and called these things a bunch of lies and crackpot bullshit. The fact that they are getting into corsi's past and his outright bigoted wackiness is refreshing, he's not able to get to the point on any of his "book" tour media stops unless it's faux news.

5. THey are doing good.
And, it is coordinated from many places to fully discredit the shit spewer.
But, the rigged bestseller status will draw more attention to it, and I'd like to see the headline change.

6. It would be nice
I'm not sure if I'd announce a VP during the olympics but it probably wouldn't hurt.

7. I'm convinced now that the VP will not be made public until the convention
I don't think they're going to announce the VP in the middle of Olympics.
