Mark Warner? Keynote speaker at the Convention?

Is he worth it? Can he deliver?
I've never heard him give a speech.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/08/13/campaign.wrap/index.html?iref=topnews

Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign announced Wednesday that Warner will deliver the speech on the convention's second night -- August 26. That's the same night that former rival Sen. Hillary Clinton will give her prime-time address.

hmmmpf.

3. he's good
he shook virginia . my neighbor doesn't like him because he consolidated all the DMVs . he balanced the budget here & worked across the aisle. in fact, the new gov has had a hell of a time because the repugs are bitter & don't want him to turn into another warner.

4. I don't know if it's all that riveting a choice, but I'll bet they wouldn't
give it to him if he wasn't a decent speaker. But then, the Dem Party tried to showcase Sebelius and Kaine in SOTU responses, and the result was :boring:

8. Well the keynote spot is really hard to fill because Obama's a hard act to follow.
It can't be helped because Obama just came out of nowhere and overdelivered. I feel kinda bad for Warner because of the expectations game and MSM crap that will be pulled.
