Why Wingers Like Bush.
In case you were wondering. :eyes:

http://tinyurl.com/43mfc

"The fact that he truly believes he's doing what's best for this country in all his actions, and that he stands by what he says, even if it's not all that popular. He's a man of integrity."

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I like that Mr. Bush sticks to his convictions. He makes decisions, such as going to war in Iraq and Afghanistan and takes the heat for them.

I also think he has done a pretty fair job on the economy. Taking into account the recession that had started when he took office and the terror attacks on 9/11/01, he hasn't done too badly.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

One is too tough but I'll give you top 3.

1. He'll keep going after terrorists and countries that help them without wavering.

2. Unlike most politicians, I know what to expect from him. If he says that he will do something, I know that he is trying hard to get it done. In other words, no "nuancing".

3. Tax cuts. He agrees that I should keep my own money. Then I can distribute it as I see fit.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

He means what he says, and acts on his convictions to the best of the ability of one man as the leader of the country

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Pro-Life

President Bush turned off federal funds going to international aid that perform abortions. Declared Nov adoption month. Signed legislation promoting adoption. Signed legislation banning partial birth abortion (Clinton vetoed twice). etc...

--------------------------------------------------------------------

That he believes what he says. I think that bush speaks from his heart and not from polling data.

2. What a dumb shit.
He makes decisions, such as going to war in Iraq and Afghanistan and takes the heat for them.

I think it's actually our troops who are taking the "heat". These people are unbelievable. By their logic a prez can do any damned thing he wants as long as he never backs down or admits that he is wrong--even when he is. Fine, follow him over the cliff, you pricks.

5. I don't get it, either
It's OK to do the wrong thing as long as you continue to do it even when overwhelmingly evidence stares you in the face??? Sorry, that's not what I want in a president.

3. They think he's a straight arrow
and I see now where Kerry is laying the groundwork to prove he's in fact quite bent.

Kerry just posted all of Bush's corporate back scratching (see Skinner's quid pro quo post)
and he's gonna prove Bush is in bed with Swift boat vets.
Also, the REAL reason for the Iraq war will come out too.

it takes time to deconstruct the lies.

4. The tax cuts statement is stupid, too
I guess this poster doesn't know Bush's tax cuts have shifted the tax burden from the rich to the middle class. What a dumbass.

10. Or that they will be shortly...
.. this is an important key to understanding why people vote for the current flavor of GOP conservative. They don't want to end the party until 'I got mine'.

8. I would love to keep my money, too...but I am not rich enough for that
Bush taxed the hell out of me so he can give it to his rich buddies.

and about the Pro-Life thing:

Thanks to President Bush, AIDS clinics now lack funds to treat people AND children who suffer from AIDS. Many babies and children will die from AIDS because of Bush's policies. Thanks for being such a great pro-lifer, Bush.

These right-wing "compassionate" assholes think killing children is alright as long as it doesn't affect white children from industrialized nations.

9. Bush's base: Dumb people, and The Very Rich
The Very Rich are quite happy to have fooled the dumb people, and to have them on "their" side.

You can bet they're all laughing about it every day.

All the way to that bunker in Berlin. Strong convictions to the wrong ideologies historically prove dangerous. The neocons, like the Nazis, will "Zieg Heil" da fuhrer until the noose has been placed about their necks and the lever is pulled.

On edit: Of course, mind you, I was speaking metaphorically and the executions will only take place after a fair trial by an impartial jury ;)

16. Get a load of this one!
There are hundreds of things I like about GWB.

For example, a picture is worth a thousand words:

If you know the story behind this picture, then you know that it was not a staged photo-op (it was taken by her father) and you know what happened to the mother of this girl and why GWB stopped to comfort her. If you knew the story then you know why he has and will continue to have my support and the support of many others.

Get ready to lose come November, lefties.

As the bulimic said to the toilet: :puke:

17. More choice reasons from the right
Edited on Wed Aug-25-04 10:20 AM by BurtWorm
Honesty, dignity, loyalty, integrity and GUTS.... And he truely believes in the greatness of the United States of America....

----------------------------------------------------------------

He tells you what he thinks and sticks by his decisions. He does what he says he'll do. You know where you stand with him.

----------------------------------------------------------------

I wasn't a big Bush fan a couple of years ago, but I made that hard turn to the right and have never looked back.... And even if I wasn't a Bush fan, compared to Kerry, Bush is the pinacle of faith and honesty.... And besides, I have actually come to really like the MAN....

----------------------------------------------------------------

Here is another touching photo of GWB:

The left wing media in the US censors out so much of this stuff.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Of course if it was a DUer commenting on this pic <i.e., the one above> they would say hes obviously trying to intimidate that poor oppressed child of color with his white devil slave master superiority....

Cool pic!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------

You know they would! So true!

But, I've seen so many pics like this...showing the softer side of the man. The bottom line with Bush is that you know what you're getting and you know that he is genuine.

----------------------------------------------------------------

I like Bush because he's human, he doesn't speak all that eloquently but it's from the heart. I admire Bush because of his dogged determination to protect us. I admire him for his taste in women---his wife Laura is a wonder. I love his remark that he has his father's eye, but his mother's mouth. I love him because he seems like a decent man, a determined man who won't cave in to the terrorists. They fear someone like him, why they're trying to get Kerry in.

----------------------------------------------------------------

I would gladly invite the entire Bush family into my home to share a meal. I would NOT let either Kerry through my front door: AND THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS. (I might let the Kerry daughter in, if I was throwing a bachelor party for a friend)

18. Hollow, empty rhetoric.
Nice propaganda pics too. Should show some of the body bags coming back from Iraq or those maimed/killed by Shock & Awe(ful). Ask them why all those people died? And the billions spent? And what's "conservative" about their warmongering pResident? Anybody could take advantage of a photo-op. Doesn't mean the liar has a heart. Just means someone snapped a good pic at an emotional moment.

19. Bush says exactly what he thinks...like this...
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."
