Assignments or take him back like a Prodigal Son? I vote to throw him out of the Party for being a treacherous leech and a backstabber...just my opinion

4. We should wait until after the 2010 elections.
Get more votes from Lieberman for 2 years, then kick him out of his chairmanships so that he joins the Republicans before 2012.

6. I think that all depends on how many seats the Democrats pick up in the Senate.
At this point, it seems likely that they'll pick up at least five. If they get up to 56, they can probably afford to shitcan the distinguished gentleman from Connecticut. But if they pick up nine, getting them to a filibuster proof 60, they made need to have him around.

7. When the election results bring a solid Democratic majority to the Senate...
one that doesn't require Lieberman caucusing with the Democrats to maintain ascendancy...then it's time to cut him loose.

9. I say strip him of his committee chairmanships AFTER the elections
Edited on Thu Aug-07-08 01:01 PM by DinahMoeHum
and give him shit work from then on out.

He hasn't been a Democrat for 2 years, having left them. He really has no loyalty to any party except himself.

And if he goes to the 'Puke Party, so much the better. Piss on him.

for Lieberman to be stripped right after the 2006 elections.

16. It depends on how big a majority we will have by then...
if it's still close, maybe it wouldn't be prudent - don't want to give the repukes the control...

but if we have the majority - it should be done YESTERDAY, UNCEREMONIOUSLY, AND AS RUDLY AS POSSIBLE...and they should hold him out as a warning to others who not just don't suppor the Democratic Party, but who BLATENTLY, WILLFULLY, AND GLADLY support the repukes!!!

21. Just so no one is confused, "WE" have no say in the matter what so ever.
Ultimately, neither will President Obama nor any other Democratic leader outside of the Senate. It's kinda funny, some people still think the Democratic Party is democratic. What about those super-delegates, are they still around?

22. When Obama takes the oath of office...
Our senatorial lead will be such that we can deem Loserman 100% irrelevant.

Cut him lose, strip him off all chairmanships --- ironically, the pukes don't want this traitorous DINO either.
