McCain at Sturgis PICS
This will be the McCain (MSM) counter to the Obama Berlin shot

His big line here was something like "I'll take the roar of 50,000 Harleys over 200,000 Berliners any day"

4. He'd take 50,000, but all he got was 4,000.

5. Nice way to put down our allies--I think responsible journalists should really take him to task for
that. In effect he is saying the sound of 50,000 harleys is better than 200,000 Germans cheering a potential American president while many of them are holding American flags. I know if Obama had said this he would be raked over the coals by the media.

6. BIG difference between 50,000 bikers who would've been there anyway and 200,000 who would not have.
This is an annual event for bikers, and the attendance didn't go up one iota due to McLame being there, whereas
in Berlin, virtually every one of those 200,000 came personally to see Obama. Totally apples and oranges John.

10. good point- he was competing against Gene Simmons of KISS-
and given the total # of people he got, it appears Gene won.

There's no way McCain could draw a crowd that large without the bike week venue.

:hi:

12. In McGoof's mind, 4,000 is roughly equal to 50,000
I bet a lot of Neo-Nazis in the crowd were upset by his attack on the Germans.

11. Mullethead Morans for McGoof n/t
What's friggin' hilarious is that he had to go to some event that already had people there to act like he "got" a crowd.

14. McCain was at last year's super bowl, too.
He likes going to events that people have already decided to attend and then get up on a stage.

McCain flipped the coin to chose who would kick off first, remember?
