McCain to criticize Obama at Urban League

McCain's speech today at the Urban League, scheduled to begin now, is a stark contrast with his recent speech at another black venue, the NAACP.

This one is full of sharp criticism of Obama, and almost seems written to invite a cold response from the crowd:

"You'll hear from my opponent, Senator Obama, tomorrow, and if there's one thing he always delivers it's a great speech. But I hope you'll listen carefully, because his ideas are not always as impressive as his rhetoric," he says.

He goes after Obama, mildly but clearly, a couple of other times in the speech.

"If Senator Obama continues to defer to the teachers unions, instead of committing to real reform, then he should start looking for new slogans," he says, according to the prepared remarks.

1. I'd bet money that within 6 hours, McCrabby's camp will be out with
a reason why he said something during this address he really didn't mean. Sorta like clockwork...

3. If only his bowel movements were as regular...
Perhaps he wouldn't be so cranky.

4. hmmmm
Remember when I made that thread about David Gregory saying on Race for the White House "Well, I was watching Meet the Press yesterday with someone and the "person" who I was watching it with said 'You know, I just don't find Obama impressive". Sounds like that person was McCain! Just kidding...I think. Lol.

Did anyone watch the Daily Show last night, which spotlighted all of the media pundits claiming that Obama is arrogant and vacuous, juxtaposed with McCain and his complete evasions and non-solutions. "I'll find a way to balance the budget". "I'll go to Hell for Osama bin Laden...(but not Pakistan)". Very on the mark.
