Poll question: Do we win or lose in November?
Edited on Wed Jul-30-08 10:00 PM by SoonerPride
This isn't a "will you vote for or against Obama" question.

But take guess on whether Obama wins or loses.

Seems like he's up against a wall of press and spin daily that seems insurmountable, but then I look at McLame and the mood of the country and the economy and 100,000 other indicators and think Obama wins in a landslide. Everything seems to point to certain victory. Am I nuts?

So, is the glass half full or half empty?

Does Obama win or lose?

Not only have the Dems not done anything to make elections transparent, they helped to insure the elections can be stolen...

They are so off message, so inept, so cranky and flipflopping and lost that it looks like they are trying to lose on purpose.

He's an awful candidate and will get demolished.

If not, we don't live in a democracy.

14. I honestly don't know. I hope he wins but I don't want to get my hopes up too high
I was absolutely devastated when Kerry lost last time. I just don't want to get my hopes up and end up devastated again. Anyway, I will work my butt off for Obama. If it is meant to be I guess it will happen.

18. Ahead in so many states Repukes won't be able to steal it.
I like the 50 state strategy. Limiting our efforts to "battleground states" in the past played into the crooks hands.

20. He wins unless he self destructs
There's no way McCain can overtake him without help from Obama. I think Tucker made that point today. It's totally in Obama's hands.

The right leaning pundits are better at that type of thing, conceding foundational advantage for the other side. I remember Ed Rollins on the eve of debate #1 in 2000 said Gore would lock up the presidency if he won the debate. Then I was in horrors as Gore sighed it away. I hold debate watching parties and the women in my living room were aghast at Gore's behavior. I knew he was in big trouble, long before the TV analysts picked up on it.

22. I'd like to be optimistic, I really would
but every day that goes by makes me think more and more, we are royally fucked. The repugs will do anything in their power, legal or not, moral or not, to win or steal the election. We'll get their fingers out of the oil wells only by prying their cold dead fingers away from it.
Not expecting that any time soon.

Already idiots in my home state of PA are in favor of offshore drilling to solve our "energy problem". In fact, doing so will provide a literal drop in the fucking bucket, but Bushco have done such a good brainwashing job that these idiots envision $2.00 per gallon gas prices.

God save us from ourselves.
