McCain’s Health Care Plan Fails

The McCain plan does not raise taxes, nor does it lower them. Instead, it takes the existing system of tax subsidies and treats everyone alike, regardless of income or job status….For the first time, low- and moderate-income families would get just as much tax relief as the very rich when they purchase health insurance.

That’s just the problem though, why should the government be made to help out people making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year? The kind of people who could buy up a small insurance company have no need for the government to help them with their insurance, let alone a measly $5,000. The problem we have today is with middle and lower income families not being able to afford health care, dropping them from medicare and replacing all government help with a single payment of $5,000 for the year is an insult and it would lead to massive viral epidemics that would be almost impossible to contain because no one in such a low income bracket would ever go see a doctor.................
