Do You Agree That Wolf Blitzer Was The Guiltiest Of Helping Smear Kerry?
For the last week I monitored Fox, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, ABC and CBS as closely as this one individual possibly could. Personally, from my own observations, there was no one among the media's corporate talking heads that appeared as enthusiastic about fanning the fires of the Rove/SwiftBoat Smear Campaign than CNN's Wolf Blitzer.

Am I alone in this observation? Were others here stunned by Blitzer's utter abandon in his zeal to help smear John Kerry?

2. I know that I personally sent Leslie (AKA "Wolf")
6 separate e-mails protesting his partisan coverage of this issue. He repeated the Swiftboat lies verbatim without a single bit of investigative reporting to verify the accuracy of the claims.

I can't compare him to FOX since I never watch it.

4. Didn't He Wax On For About 15 Minutes About The Balloons?
I seem to remember him ignoring Kerry's speech and talking about the technical problems with the balloons.

7. Thanks.
I called CNN in Atlanta and left a long message when the "beep" came on.

At least Blitzer has exposed himself early and has lost any credibility for the rest of the election campaign.

8. I agree. He was as bad as it gets, although Crowley led the way on it.
She added an interview with John O'Neill in her so-called documentary of Kerry before the convention.

She also conveniently took Kerry's testimony in 71 out of context to make it seem as if the charges he made were his alone, instead of the recalling of testimony he HEARD at the Wintersoldier meeting.

9. contact their news chief here and let him have it (example given)
[email protected]

Tell him that they need to fire Wolf Blitzer because instead of working for CNN he is abusing his position to campaign for Bush.

He quit working for CNN some time ago.

Unless of course, CNN is in the business of not supplying news, but is in fact actively trying to get Bush elected.

Which is OBVIOUSLY the case if you've seen the promo for this Bush/Cheney campaign commercial/propaganda piece they've got coming out called "The Mission of George Bush."

I think CNN is hopeless, but fill up this asshole's e-mail box anyway

10. I'd say CNN in general, including him
How many times could they possibly show that damn ad? Why should they bother running it anymore? They're getting tons of airtime for free.

Dear Sir,
Just a quick note to thank you for continuing to run the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth commercials, even though they have been just about totally discredited. I'm sure the group appreciates getting so much more bang for their buck than the relatively small amount of air time they could have purchased.

Thanks to your fine organization, they have achieved national and international coverage, far more than the two or three "swing" states for which they were originally intended. I believe your Mr. Wolf Blitzer deserves a share of the credit also. It is especially effective that he usually seems to offer no rebuttal to their false claims.

I would suggest that you run the clip of Senator Robert Dole's Sunday comments to Mr. Blitzer about Kerry and the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth at every opportunity.

Goebbels would be proud, and that is no small compliment.
Wishing you continued success, I remain
Your Obedient Servant,
Massey Lambard
Foley, AL

because he once had a decent reputation. Remember his promotion of the war. This guy has lost all claim to being called a journalist.

I agree. I emailed CNN and him last weekend to complain about his blanket statement repeated over and over on CNN and CNN headline news that there were no connections between the Bush campaign and the Swiftliars.

21. Joe Scarborough was a close second
He gave the liars more air time on his horrid show. But he tried to act nonchalant even while he was enabling their smear campaign.

He is despicable.
