McCain screws up YET AGAIN!!
Edited on Mon Jul-28-08 02:56 PM by proud2Blib
MCCAIN: I believe that, when he said that we had to leave Iraq, and we had to be out by last March, and we had to have a date certain, that was in contravention to -- and still is -- the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General David Petraeus.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/cenk-uygur/another-mccain-gaffe-call_b_115265.html

Now he thinks Patraeus is chair of the Joint Chiefs???

This is just too easy.

The GOP is letting him embarrass himself repeatedly.

Of course, you could also consider the fact that the best among them couldn't manage to beat one senile old man.

Typo -sorry!

7. Those with conservative values
would have trashed him unmercifully and the emails would already be flying. But those with conservative values (members of the party of responsibility) would rather their candidates not be held responsible for anything. Its misery enough for most conservatives that mccain is the nominee.

6. Could it be intentional??
bush has fucked up so much conservatives have become immune and take umbrage at anyone who points it out. And its pretty damned obvious, conservatives and republicans just love putting senile dumbasses in the oval office.

8. It shows that image is more important than content.

They will vote for morons because they look beer worthy, or that they look like a war hero.

Bush got huge approval by dressing up as a pilot when they landed that plane for him on the Aircraft Carrier.

mentally and financially, and then run away with the election.

22. What pisses me off the most is
how the mccain camp can with a straight face claim a media bias toward barack obama. I mean, mccain makes these gaffs all the time and never gets coverage for it, while obama making such mistakes would get 24/7 coverage for several days. It irks me to no end. Why does mccain automatically get a foreign policy cred title by the media, when he obviously has problems with basic knowledge on so many things... including countries that no longer exist, borders mideast countries share.... different groups of people in that area. It's frightening to me that a man with such a lack of knowledge in an area he claims as his expertise could be our president.
