Dumb Martha MacCallum...Another Faux Anchorwoman who dresses like a ....

9. OH GOOD GAWD!
Like the "popular local band" in Portland? You know the one that had never played a venue of more than 2500 prior to the Obama speech and showed up because they knew they'd have a captive crowd?

17. THAT'S THE ONE!
The Decemberists!

That's the band that prior to the Portland rally ahd never ever played a venue with more than 2500 people and showed up basically because they knew the crowd would be huge and they could get some exposure!

16. Even if that were true
no one forced these people to stay or to stand and cheer. They could have done what they do when BUsh comes to town. Burn him in effigy. But they didn't. They cheered.

Faux is stupid.

27. Wikipedia article on Reamonn; they've had hit records for several years:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reamonn

So this was a big-name band helping draw that crowd.

I'm sure most of the people were there for Obama. But I don't see anything wrong with FOX or anyone else reporting that popular artists were giving a free concert before Obama's speech. Is that supposed to be kept secret?
