sure, go ahead, they are good Dems who use AOL because they are not political.

They are comfortable with that experience, and so it is what they use.

4. Hey now
I'm not tryin' to offend anyone, but there has to be some negative light shown on people who would bring about poll results like this.

Edited on Mon Jul-21-08 02:42 PM by YOY
For folks who may not really have great technical aptitude. The elderly or kids are one market. There are others as well.

And sadly some of them are true flaming idiots.

AOL has some pretty pathetic "news coverage" as well.

12. Is anybody else fed up with the goddamned blurry letters java "security" applet things
which NEVER FUCKING WORK RIGHT in the first place?

I'm not typing in a series of barely legible random characters over and over to vote in some shitty AOL poll.

Watch DIEBOLD add this to their machines next. They would be able to eliminate 90% of the votes by that alone.

15. Dead Ender (PUMA) sites always have links to these Polls up every week
Edited on Mon Jul-21-08 03:34 PM by SurfingAtWork
They have convinced themselves that Rasmussen, Zogby, et al are not in any way accurate, and that these polls are the indisputable evidence of that. They are sort of missing the fact that by urging members of their collective echo chamber to go vote for McSame and to vote multiple times, they are compromising any possibility that this could ever resemble anything close to a scientific poll.

22. As of now
Obama is losing Illinois, but winning Wyoming? What a wacky poll.

In the mean time... Yup. There are still many who use AOL. I don't get it either. I understand, but I don't get it. My father had dial up with a local company for many years, refused to switch to cable even when the price came within $5 a month. Then he moved to another state. So the local dial up connection doesn't work unless he uses long distance. But he still keeps it. Comfort/familiarity is a powerful motivator for some
