I suspect that Phil Graham was to take over for Dick Cheney as Puppetmaster and Ruler of the Universe, while John McCain took over the role of ventriliquist's dummy.

Fortunately, however, he blew it by revealing the Dark Side much too early in the game, and letting the voting public see exactly what he thought of them. Bye-bye, Phil!

So the Gang Who Couldn't Lie Straight is short a player, still. (Two players if you count McCain, but who does?). Which sterling example of criminality will they select for that key position next?
