Hardball
Barnicle is pissing me off. He keeps asking why is it they know so little about Barack's political career in Chicago. Blah..blah..blah..... I want to scream because you all don't do your damn job! Instead you spend hours spinning bullshit! If you took a minute to actually research perhaps you would learn something!

1. he's been horrid all week.
I used to like watching when he was on but he's been picking at Obama for stupid shit all week. I turned if off last night after about 10 minutes.

Tweety was much better last week. But, as it is with Tweety, you don't know how he'll be next week.

2. Don't watch it. It makes people shallower and stupider.

Seriously. It's trash. It always has been tabloid trash and always will be. That's all cable news; not just Hardball.

Cable news is more vile than kiddie porn and bum fighting videos combined.

4. Barnicle is a hack. A serial plagiarist, he nonetheless has a successful TV career,
both on MSNBC and local Boston TV.

I can't stand the guy, even though his wife, Ann Finucane, is a prominent Democratic donor. She's the CMO at Bank of America.

5. Barnicle is a good guy
I've enjoyed him every time he's a guest, and I don't mind his hosting. There's been a few hosts during vacation time that made me want to go to sleep, but he's one that has "some" emotion while hosting. Rachel isn't included in this group obviously.

8. He seemed pretty pro-Obama or at least anti-McCain
Edited on Fri Jul-18-08 07:27 PM by Phoonzang
during the one show I watched with him. I don't know though...I haven't watched him every day this week. I find myself missing Tweety's unbalanced rants about random subjects.

But really, isn't he obligated to say stupid things about Obama in order to "maintain balance"?

13. He is. But everyone needs to remember that he has to fill an hour.
To do that he needs to be a devil's advocate. I'm not defending any of this. Just saying. He, and everyone else on the political tv shows have the same issue, except for the rare Countdown.

They have all pissed me off talking about the BS counter-points. But I've heard enough from Barnicle to know that inside, he is on Obama's side.

12. Yesterday, he showed videos of both campaigns..
and when he was done after his commentary on the Obama campaign, he then said he knew after looking at McCain's campaign ad his was the better. Which was bull...

14. He's been read the riot act....
by MSNBC because they have been accused of being in the "tank" for Obama. And in order for him to stay and continue to collect those plum paychecks, he most tow a line.

He's another democratic casuality that chose a regular paycheck over principles. I've noticed a bunch of them on MSNBC this election cycle.

16. No kidding.
Get off your ass and read his record, Barnicle. You lazy shit. And newspapers wonder why they're losing so many readers. Sure the Internet has had a big impact, but so has the fact that today's reporters are a bunch of lazy, gossip-mongers who can't be bothered to do any real work. It's so much easier to parrot talking points and spread Internet gossip.
