Language Control: The real swift boat argument
Bush never served so he is sensitive about Vietnam, and jealous and hateful toward everyone who did because they are a constant reminder of his personal failings. He can only cover up his own shame by destroying men who served honorably in Vietnam; Al Gore, John McCain, and now John Kerry. It's not a coincidence. Bush actually hates men who served in Vietnam.

The saddest part is that precisely because he never served Bush has no sense of military honor. He is literally not an honorable man. Because he lacks honor he doesn't understand that when he lies about Kerry's war record he is smearing every man and woman who has ever served in the US military.

Men who fought in Normandy on D-Day now know that their medals are trash, thanks to George W. Bush.

He has no honor and no code. It is a national tragedy that he somehow became President.

1. The problem is not Bush. The problem is the media.
If the media had not promoted this, and given it the platform it did, there would have been no issue. The Bush or Rove role in this is irrelevant and a distraction. The problem is the media.

4. A lie doesn't matter if nobody hears it. Nor does the truth.
The media participated in and facilitated these lies. They should be forced to explain why they gave these liars their platform. Kerry is a presidential candidate. He isn't running for dog catcher. The media must be held to some standard.

3. I do not believe a man like Bush or any of that family
considers "honor" unless it is honor amongst thieves and liars. Things like honor and integrity and honesty and concerns about doing the right thing are for the "little guys"
