speech is at 10:45.

Everyone - please ignore the man emphasizing how Iraq was an enormous blunder and Afghanistan is falling apart.

"Bush to Hold Morning Presser

The President will take questions from the press in the Brady Briefing Room at 10:20 am ET."

Hopefully, Obama will just hold off until Bush ends his presser. It isn't like Bush does marathon press conferences - probably one hour at the most.

edit to add - MSNBC says it will be about "all things economic".

1. My first thought, too, when I heard the blivet thinks he has something
to say. No doubt he will blast Dems for everything from the banking crisis to offshore drilling. Me, I'll listen to Obama.

7. Curious that he has to come out two days in a row

to say the same thing again.

Oh, I can only wait to hear the tough questions that he is asked by the WH presswhores.

"MR President! MR President! Tell us how much of a success your presidency has been.

Now about those evil Democrat party types..."

So their events don't coincide.

10. I was thinking that, too! lol.
Bush's press conferences usually don't last quite THAT long. I wouldn't be surprised. I'm glad Obama waited until after he was done (also most likely on purpose).

11. Bush is fighting for relevance
When you have 6 months left in office nobody really cares what you have to say.

When you approval rating is below 30% anything you say hurts your own party. I hope Bush continues to try to help McCain.
