People make up their minds in early to mid October. That is when they focus sharply on the race. That is not to say what happens before or after isn't important, but early-mid October is when you want to be right there, with your best stuff, closing the sale.

After that, people tend to get tired of it all, especially if things go negative, and they go into a shell.

Right now, there are so few undecided there won't be any left by October. what we need to do is convince as many people as we can before Rove starts playing hardball.

The fight has been engaged for months. But peak in October. After all the tricks are out of the bag.
