The RNC is running an ad for McCain for the first time in my market (western WI),
claiming all that McCain is doing to help the energy crisis while Obama just says no to everything. It also claims that Obama simply votes the party line 97% of the time. Is this accurate and then it begs the question as to what McCain's voting record is in regards to the Republican party line?

1. Here's the ad

Pure crap.

But it does show that the McCain people have nothing and therefore only can attack Obama.

2. Yep, that's the one.
I don't think I can remember the ads for both candidates starting so fast and furious so early. This is the first ad that I've seen here that is not one from the candidate.

3. It seems to me that the ad makers assume that
voters distrust the Dem party so much that they will not vote for Obama because he votes with Dems. With the Repub brand so tarnished, I wonder why they couldn't come up with a better ad. Labeling Obama as a Dem isn't going to win McCain that many votes IMO.

5. McCain has been running ads in MN since late May
...so annoying.

But everyone here just laughs at him. It's totally desperate. I've not seen ONE McCain yard sign or bumper sticker!
