I'm really not expecting them to happen.

1. Oh, they'll happen.
Just only in the format acceptable to Bush and Cheney. In other words, it will be rigged heavily in their favor just like in 2000. No direct questioning or exchanges between candidates will be allowed (which of course means that they're not truly debates).

that they would let W off is leash to "debate" Kerry. Ain't gonna happen. No way. No how. There'll be a terra-ist attack or something to cancel them.
