TWO MINUTE ACTIVISM..........THE BUSH OLYMPIC ADDS
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=1956556

Above is the link to a post that has a huge list of media contacts.
I am suggesting that we all take a few minutes to complain about the bush "Victory" TV add. If you haven't seen it please go here and view it ========>> http://www.georgewbush.com/
it can be found under "latest adds".

There is no way bush should be allowed to claim the Olympics as a republican icon.

Come on folks, it will take two minutes and it might do some good. The media might talk about the adds if we convince them that the adds are controversial.

2. The Iraqi soccer team has already complained
quite convincingly too! Bush shot himself right in the foot with that one.

13. I think it was just the flags in the actual ad,
if this Sports Illustrated article is right. But Bush did refer specifically to the Iraqi soccer team in at least one public appearance in recent days...

From Sports Illustrated (link below):

UNWILLING PARTICIPANTS
Iraqi soccer players angered by Bush campaign ads

PATRAS, Greece -- Iraqi midfielder Salih Sadir scored a goal here on Wednesday night, setting off a rousing celebration among the 1,500 Iraqi soccer supporters at Pampeloponnisiako Stadium. Though Iraq -- the surprise team of the Olympics -- would lose to Morocco 2-1, it hardly mattered as the Iraqis won Group D with a 2-1 record and now face Australia in the quarterfinals on Sunday.

Afterward, Sadir had a message for U.S. president George W. Bush, who is using the Iraqi Olympic team in his latest re-election campaign advertisements.

In those spots, the flags of Iraq and Afghanistan appear as a narrator says, "At this Olympics there will be two more free nations -- and two fewer terrorist regimes."

"Iraq as a team does not want Mr. Bush to use us for the presidential campaign," Sadir told SI.com through a translator, speaking calmly and directly. "He can find another way to advertise himself."

12. US Olympic Comm. should file suit against Spaceshrub
I hope this gets covered in the news too (not likely).
Shrubs ad blitz and the smearboats could be crumbled in a matter of weeks.
