Obama on Faux Business Channel This Afternoon
Edited on Thu Jun-26-08 12:34 PM by jefferson_dem
Anyone else see it? It was actually a pretty good "sit down" and Barack was excellent, per usual -- reasonable and informed...and "presidential".

He dealt with issues ranging from the SCOTUS gun ruling, to Iraq, to tax policy.

Looking for a video clip. Here's a light summary from Halperin.

The Senator gets into wordplay on the Fox Business Channel, as he responds to concepts in one word (or two).

McCain — Honorable
Iran — Threat
NAFTA — Mixed bag
Wall Street — Money
Exxon-Mobil — Profitable
Sovereign wealth funds — Caution
OPEC — Independence* *Explains that he means the U.S. must achieve independence from OPEC.

Also defends the tone of his campaign, saying “We’ve had about as positive a presidential campaign as you’ve seen in maybe a generation. “

But concedes: “There’s no doubt that sometimes the testosterone kicks in, and you get more combative than you need to.”
