A McCain win will bring about that awful term "Mandate" again. Just like 2004. They said that Bush's reelection meant that the voters were ok with what happened in Bush's first term.

If McCain wins this time, it will be another mandate, and we'll get more of the same stuff.

It's not much, but it will be paid weekly 'till the election!

I'm a housekeeper raising my grandson, so needless to say spare cash is a rarity in our house. But I'm committed to squeaking out the $10er every week for the campaign. This election is just so damned important that I can't stay on the sidelines & hope everyone else can cover it/me/us. Even though it's a little-bitty donation, it costs my boy & me a lot. And we're pleased to throw it in the pot!

btw - got a call from Obama's campaign today requesting donations. I tried to explain that I'm a bitty donater, & that what I give is going through my online home! I don't think she quite understood, but DU is hard to explain in 30 seconds ... to a stranger ... on the phone. Hopefully she'll be curiously befuddled enough to wanna take a look! :rofl:
