who refuse to vote for a third Bush term (and, YES, the GOP voters I know use those terms when speaking of McCain's candidacy).

I remember how excited I was in 2004 when Dean came on the scene. I was so disgusted with the Dem primary candidates, and wasn't going to vote for any of them. It was wonderful to have an alternative.

So I'm glad for the GOP voters. Bob Barr is probably pretty close to being a Goldwater Republican, and that is a very good fit for Republicans who are disgusted with the direction of the GOP and what their party has become.

5. I'm glad the nutjob is able to pull some nutjobs in

much as ralph did to us in 2004. Fortunately there are more whackos in the GOP that I think will cross over and support Barr. He could have an almost Ross Perot pull on that party.

At least Barr has spoken out against the Patriot Act and infringement on civil liberties.
