BREAKING: Senator Obama takes lead in newest Virginia poll-45-44%-wow!!

Excellent news.

Virginia is probably THE state along with Ohio this cycle to watch and it's awesome to see Senator Obama up in the state that no democrat has carried for 40 years!

Barack Obama continues to gain ground on John McCain in Virginia, for the first time edging ahead of his Republican opponent for the presidency in a state Democrats are increasingly hopeful of peeling away from the GOP.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Virginia voters finds Obama with a statistically insignificant one-percentage point lead over McCain, 45% to 44%. Five percent (5%) favor a third-party candidate, and 7% are undecided. Last month, with Hillary Clinton still in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, McCain led Obama 47% to 44%

5. Now watch that lead grow in the coming months, and spill into NC.
I think Obama will win both VA and NC.

Maybe even GA.

11. and that senate race is going to help Obama big time
to say nothing of his great ground game in the state. I really believe he's in the lead and by a much larger margin than this.

It's a wrap folks. Let's start making plans to go to D.C. Jan 20, 2009 for the Inaugural parade. I'll be there. My entire family is going.
