I am so glad to see this. She is a new Dean Dozen. Howard Dean was furious that all these attacks were coming out at her, some anti-semitic because of Al Arian.

He needs to step lightly here.

SNIP...".S. Senate hopeful Peter Deutsch leveled his harshest criticisms to date against the Democratic front-runner's handling of a controversial University of South Florida professor who has since been indicted on terrorism charges.

"As a human being, you have a responsibility to stop evil," Deutsch said, arguing that former USF President Betty Castor should have done more to confront and stop Sami Al-Arian, who last year was arrested by federal authorities. "I think on a human basis, it's a failure."

Castor could not be reached for comment late Thursday. Her campaign spokesman, Matt Burgess, said she "did more than speak out, she suspended Al-Arian and went to the authorities. She took the initial steps that led to his dismissal."

SNIP..."Castor also announced she will have a rally at noon Monday in the Harriet Himmel Gilman Theater at CityPlace in West Palm Beach with former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean and former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno......"
