5. He is the reason that Bill Clinton could not end the ban in the military
he fought Clinton tooth and nail. Sam Nunn is why we have DADT.

Obama won't pick Sam Nunn.

12. I dont think Sam Nunn will be the pick
I think there are better choices out there that meet that have the foreign policy cred (Richardson, Webb, Biden).

15. He's also 70 (in Sept)
which would obliterate our case that McCain is a bit over the hill to be Prez.

13. We'll all be eating poo if it's one of these guys.
Sam Nunn is an ancient homophobe. Strickland is a DLC tool. Two senators on a ticket can't win.

17. Ask Kerry & Edwards.
And yes, I said it was a mistake then too.

Where have two senators been elected. From either party, for that matter?

1960 is the only election I can think of. That one resulted in a Presidential assassination, and eventually 58,000 Americans dead in a war that never should have happened. Not exactly an ideal worth repeating.

18. I'm not asking Kerry and Edwards, I'm asking you
What is the downside of two Senators.
