This was a TOUGH Primary Season to Focus Solely on Issues
Edited on Mon Jun-09-08 03:57 PM by IWantAnyDem
Seriously, the candidates were so close to one another on the issues that it took all of about a week in November to sort out the differences.

After that, all we were left with were personalities and approachs to campaigning, and things swiftly sank to a personal level after that (because how can it not get personal when it comes down to significant differences in personality?).

I'm amazed at how united the party is right now after a primary season like that. My gosh, with another five months to go I don't see how we can't put the final nail in the coffin of neoconservatism. Certainly, the conservatives will like that outcome, too, as they probably dislike the neoconservative poolicies nearly as much as we do!

1. Hillary and Obama differ greatly on foreign policy
with Hillary taking the line of war with Iran is inevitable, so let's start planning for it.

3. You are so right.
The race really came down to differences in personality and style. Issues became distractions and were universally distorted.

When it comes down to it, we will be fine. The pretty dramatic change in DU is a very good sign.
