Announcing Quarters For Kerry Campaign!

Greetings from Boston! Funny thing happened two weeks ago here in beautiful Beantown, home of our future President. It was the Democratic National Convention and it seemed that everytime I received change from buying something, every QUARTER I was given had the State of Texas on it. Maybe that particular state coin was just released, but it seemed to me WAY too convenient and subliminal that during the DNC in Boston, we would be inundated with Texas quarters.

My thought.....Between now and the last week of October, I am going to save every quarter that has a State of Texas map on it and will donate them to the Kerry campaign. I haven't donated anything as yet, but thought this could be a good way to start.

Anyone care to do the same?

Maybe the US Mint can flood NYC with Massachusetts quarters? HOw much do you wanna bet that NYC will be flooded with Texas quarters?

There are five minted and released each year. It started with Delaware in 1999 and goes in the order the state was admitted into the Union. Iowa and Wisconsin are the last two for this year.

2. I'm still looking for a Denver minted Texas quarter!

As well as an Arkansas Denver mint.

3. I don't think you can donate to the Kerry campaign any longer.

He's on the fed dole now. But the DNC is always looking for cash.
