When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the Powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect for the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all people are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. --Such has been the patient sufferance of these States; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present President of the United States, a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world. He has, with the help of a partisan Congress, refused to pass any bill or resolution that would help the minority party. He has used his Governors in controlled states to help and coeirce in order to solidify his position. He has passed laws that limit the rights of the majority under the pretense of terrorism and war. He wants to pass laws that limit people's rights based on what they do in their own bedroom. He wants to limit rights based on what God you pray to. He has spent excess time away from his duty of President. Regardless if they are "working" vacations, Washignton D.C. was built as our capital, use it. He has dissolved the opposing party's argument into "Disagree with me, and you are unpatriotic". He has refused to accept the fact that the 2000 election was not won based on our laws, rather won based on a brother's help. He has limited the immigration into this country on the fact that they could be terrorist. He has made being Arab a plank for being a terrorist. He has used his assumed powers to restrict the Rights of combatants, treating them in a way that is in contrary to International Law. He used the Justices to legalize what he did, even though it goe against all of man's laws. He has made Judicial branch bend to his will due to his conserative appoitnments. He has appointed close family friends into the highest positions of our Land. He has used our Sons and Daughters to fight against a country that was no threat to ourselves. He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Laws. He has combined with his legislators to make laws against our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their acts of pretended Legislation: For creation of the Patriot Act: For allowing our Troops to commit Acts of Terror onto another population: For cutting us out of the Kyoto Protocol, an environmentally safeguarding treaty: For giving relief to the wealthy minority only so our kids will have to pay off our debt: For depriving in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury: For transporting our Sons and Daughters across the seas to fight and die for a cause we don't believe in: For ignoring the Constitution that establishes what he can and cannot do. Passing laws that go in direct conflict with, and ignoring laws that are also in conflict: For taking away our right to privacy, taking away our right to talk to whoever we want without the fear of a government listening in: For the abuse of power we would not tolerate if any other country in the world committed them. He has abdicated Government here, by lying to his populace, and committing acts against our beliefs. He has plundered our Economy, ravaged our Environment, burnt our Rights, and destroyed the lives of our people. He is at this time committed our veteran and retired troops to join the ones already sent to fight a war that should not be fought. He has taken away resources from our legitimate fight to find the man who attacked our nation on September 11th 2001. That man is left uncaught, yet we are trying a different man. He has used negative tactics against his opponents by lying, manipulating, using his right wing pundits to blast the opposition, and not allowing for free discourse because of absences in political debate. He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, yet we do nothing. In every stage of these Wrongful Government We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A President, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free People. Nor have We been wanting in attention to our Republican brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends. We, therefore, the Representatives of the United States of America, in a General Forum, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name and by Authority of the good People of these States, solemnly publish and declare, That these United States are, on the day of our Independence from the British Rule, no longer going to sit by and let this Tyrant ruin our lives and our counry;
