We can tell our (insert grandchildren, children, great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews) that, yes, we voted for Obama to be the Democratic Party nominee. And YES, we witnessed the "becoming" of the first minority to become a nominee of any party for President of the United States.

(BTW, I'm one of those white, hard working, middle aged women you've heard speak of. But I'm soooooo proud of the millions of people in our country for picking this most extraordinary and gifted man to become a party candidate for President.)

6. Whenever he gives his speech. It'll be on MSNBC & CNN, I'm sure. Maybe CSPAN, too. Fox unreliable

Fox tends to cut away when showing Obama....to focus on Clinton or McCain. Unreliable source for Obama speeches in full, or factual information.

10. Just switched to CNN

And they had a McCain talking head in Kenner, LA spewing about Obama. I switched back to MSNBC. I have no stomach to watch McCain tonight.

.. but staying up insanely late here in Denmark to see his speech. That is one I want to catch live.

Same goes for the one in August and the one in January.
