Breaking: Press Release from Clinton Campaign
Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 12:35 PM by OzarkDem
Hillary Clinton Delegation,

Please see the statement below from the campaign. Senator Clinton will not concede the nomination tonight.

Thank you for your continued support and strength as our primary season draws to a close tonight with Montana and South Dakota. The Senator continues to make the case today that she is the strongest candidate to lead our party against John McCain in the fall. As I talk with members of our delegation I am encouraged and amazed by the passion and tenacity of each and every one of you. Keep up the good work!

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Sincerely,

Jeremy Kennedy
Delegate Relations Specialist
Hillary Clinton for President

27. Do you really think so, papau? What makes you say that?
If she does suspend her campaign, do you think she'll still be working on the SDs to support her at the Convention?

7. Fine. Let her go off the cliff. I'm tired of all the resurgent VP talk
so let her demonstrate once again why she's a bad idea for the spot.

This is all about HER, not the good of the party.

16. It's a real shame that Clinton is making tonight *her* night...
... when it has become painfully obvious that tonight, Barack Obama will win enough delegates today and tonight to become the first African-American nominee of a major party.

It's an historic night. This is about America, not Hillary Clinton. And it's a shame, it really is.

18. Dear Jeremy. I have a question.
What could Hillary possibly hope to gain by staying in the race? Doesn't she understand that it just makes her look desperate, self-obsessed and a little crazy?

I'd walk there and back for Clinton, since she's the only candidate who will get the job done instead of running for re-election and cashing in 24/7. $-)
