1. It Won't - Hillary Will Look Like That Battleaxe From YouTube
In order for her to take it to the convention, she's going to have to show she has STRENGTH.

Her problem, as the vote in the rules committee showed, is that it's far likelier that she'll LOSE strength the longer she acts like a sore loser. She'll lose delegates, she'll lose money (remember, she's already in hock for tens of millions), and eventually she'll lose all but the Angry And Bitter Battleaxe Phony Democratic Vote.

In short, let her. The biggest loser will be her.

2. They have to keep up appearances to keep raking in the contributions
so Hillary can get repaid for her loans to the campaign.

I think they've just awakened to the fact that they have lost and might actually be out all those millions of bucks.

c'est la vie.

3. She's not going to have a choice in the matter
The superdelegates have seen enough. There will be more tommorrow, and then the final avalanche on Wednesday.

4. Clinton will become the butt of jokes and an outcast in the party if she does
Does she really want to end her career with this as her (and Bill's) legacy?

6. Hasn't She Been That Here For Months Already?
I'm not even sure if it matters at this point, having gone this far.

But I will tell you frankly as a Clinton supporter, that I was beginning to feel a sense of optimism from the current reports indicating the two of them were talking and beginning to resolve a few things closely held between them. And I'm not giving up hope of a major announcement or two this week.
