Somebody Help Me Understand This Poll

It seems especially USA Today, they headline any poll that shows in Bush's favor. The latest one maybe someone can enlighten me and help me understand how this works.

The one I am talking about is in USA Today, Kerry's leadership still lacking Bush leads or something to that effect.

You look at the polls that say the majority of the country thinks we are headed in the wrong direction. Isn't this due to poor leadership?

You look at the polls that say the majority feel that we should not have gone into Iraq. Isn't this due to poor leadership, poor planning and everything else.

You look at the polls that show the majority feel the economy is going bad and not improving. Isn't this due to the leadership we now have?

How then in the hell can they say Bush has better leadership than Kerry. Kerry whips his ass in every category.

1. Enlightenment is a slow process

Have patience. I believe Kerry is leading people to the right conclusions, but it will take time.

2. I read "leadership" in this sense as "determination."

Maybe Bush is wrong, but he's bold and steadfast even as he drives right over the cliff.

So I don't put a whole lot of weight on that particular quality.

Kerry at at least 300. The rest is just pundit cud. Chewing and farting.
